Research Fellow / Associate

I joined the team in Jan 2023 as a Research Associate on the SONICOM project and I’m interested in understanding what the auditory system uses perceptually within an HRTF to understand its acoustic environment. My PhD project at the UCL Ear Institute explored how the brain detects acoustic patterns by investigating the behavioural detection of random to regular tone sequences and how single and small networks of neurons in auditory cortex and hippocampus respond during regularity.
