Nils Meyer-Kahlen
I joined the team in January 2026 as a research associate. Currently, I am investigating adaptation to new sets of HRTFs. In general, my research focuses on virtual acoustics for augmented reality, always keeping technological development and human perception in sight.
Prior to coming to London, I was part of the Acoustics Lab at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland, where I defended my PhD in 2024. Before moving to Finland in 2019, I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Audio Engineering at the Technical University and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria. I interned as a research scientist at Reality Labs Research in 2022 and 2024.
