Turret Lab

The Turret Lab is a large acoustically treated space, 5.5m long and wide and 7m high, up to the top of the dome ceiling. The acoustic insulation is ensured by 400mm concrete walls all around, and by sound proofed doors - the measured noise level inside the space is 23dB SPL LAeq. The internal acoustic treatment consists in 150mm foam wedges around the walls and dome ceiling - the measured RT60 goes from 0.07s @8kHz, which raises above 0.1s below 400Hz and up to 0.25s @100Hz.
